The Mystic Krewe of Music (MKOM) and PFJ Floats, LLC, their officers, agents, employees, representatives, and volunteers, from any liability for the injury or harm to myself which may occur as a result of my participation in their Mardi Gras parade.*

I have been informed of all my necessary safety precautions (listed below) and have been advised that there can be no guarantee that my participation in the parade will be entirely risk free.*

I acknowledge that I have the opportunity to ask questions concerning safety precautions to be taken during the parade and that these questions have been answered to my satisfaction.*

Wherefore, the said member/rider of the MKOM hereby agrees that rules and regulations governing behavior have been disclosed in writing in this document to him/her and hereby agrees to follow these rules and regulations. *

In consideration of approval as a member/rider, I assume all risks associated with participation in the parade and associated activities and agree to release the MKOM and PFJ Floats, LLC.*

Their officers, agents, employees, representatives, and volunteers from any and all damages or losses sustained by myself as a result of my participation in the parade and related activities.*

Members/riders are to be reminded of the following conduct, safety precautions and regulatory requirements: Rider is required to wear a safety harness while riding the float, and the harness must be connected to the designated harness bolts on the float.*

Only authorized Krewe personnel and riders are allowed on the float during loading/unloading times at the staging/disbanding area, during the parade, and at the conclusion of the parade. *

Each rider is to remain in the designated riding position while riding the float. Riders are prohibited from being intoxicated while riding the float. Unruly or rowdy behavior is prohibited by any rider during the parade. *

Riders are prohibited from hurling objects at paradegoers, and riders will exercise caution while throwing objects to the public. Riders must remain in costume (inclusive of hat/wig, shirt, and mask) during the duration of the parade.*

Boxes and bottles are prohibited aboard the float. Vaping or smoking while aboard the float is strictly prohibited. No one is authorized to utilize MKOM’s name or logo in production, marketing, distribution, or offering for sale.*

Without written permission of the MKOM Board of Directors. Any rider / member found in violation of the aforementioned regulations will be subject to immediate termination of MKOM membership.*
